Be Inspired.

Thinking about Alex - the guy who sang the first song I had published when I was 16 – he’ll never be able to come back into the music industry because he had his chance – I don’t know his exact reasons - they must have been strong – but he’s missed out for good. So my advice to anyone is to take the chance while it’s there because you never know where it could lead or where you’ll be tomorrow if you don’t. And don’t regret anything – cos regrets take up memory space – and if you only remember good things that happen – then regret sort of defeats the object.

Don't wait around for things to happen, apart from love which as I've mentioned, we have no control over; I'd much rather act now than forever be waiting for something to stir me to. Cos if we all waited for the right time, we would be waiting forever. We could do that, but it'd be pretty boring. So just go for it, cos you never know what could happen. One thing that happened this week was I was feeling something, so I told my friend who was feeling the same way. So just remember, you are never alone, if you are feeling a particular way, someone else probably is too.

Life is too short not to...

So take the risk.
It doesn't matter if it ends up in a bad situation. You can deal with that later. Just live in the here and now and don't worry about what others say. I had this with my mum and sister, I thought they never understood me, could never see the good in what I did but I don't care anymore. I'll just do what I have to, to make myself happy and I implore you to do the same. We're all selfish creatures, whenever we cross another's mind it's because that person wants to know what you think of them. No one ever thinks of you without this ulterior motive.

You can't fail if you try...the real failures are those who never attempt to even try something. I'm glad that when something's "a fail" people talk and joke about it because at least they are accepting themselves and that they can't do everything. For instance, I tried sailing. I am the least sporty person you could ever meet, but I gave it a fair go. In the end, it didn't work out, but I'm glad I tried it. It may have been the sport I excelled in. Unfortunately it wasn't, but I don't see it as a failure on my part. I gave it a go, and I'd rather try something than never know.

I'm a risk-taker.
Don't be boring.
Give it a go.
You never know what could happen.

Thank you for reading. Honestly, it does mean so much to me. Leave me comments or tweet me (@steph_carfrae) topics you'd like me to cover in a future post. And smile, because you deserve to be happy.

Sorry it's late!

I had a fabulous birthday and birthday party. It was amazing - I got to go in a limo for an hour with a few friends - which was awesome. Champange on hand. Then the party was awesome. My DJ was fab. At the end we all had a bit of a dance and it was really special - the people who mean the world to me in one room dancing their hearts out! I have the best friends in the whole world and I don't mean just those who showed up to my 21st. Some of my other great friends had work commitments, were ill or some had a tournament in Birmingham. My friends got me some awesome presents including a really expensive lipstick!

I was really emotional on my birthday. That was mostly because I got to read my long awaited 21  book! It was a real eye-opener for me. I never knew I inspired people. I had gotten celebrities (McFLY and Carrie Hope Fletcher) to write in there for me, so their entries made it extra special for me! Carrie was so sweet, Danny, Dougie, Tom and Harry's entries were just incredible! I must thank them if I ever get to meet them again. All my good friends had also written in there, and it means so much to me that people would take time out of their busy lives to leave me a note (sometimes essays!) but I am thankful to everyone who took the time for me. It really means a lot. Thanks a million guys!

I had an awesome time turning 21! If you played any part throughout the weekend, thank you so much, I could have not asked for more!

'She's Not There'

Thought I'd go back to my roots today! I hope you like this particular lyric. I wrote it when I was 17, along with a series of lyrics about this particular person. Often based on dreams I had had as well as reality, this lyric is one of my favourites that I have ever written!!
It's called: SHE’S NOT THERE

V1:

He asks you to go with him

To a premiere or stay the night in

Either way you expect her to be there

And you think oh yeah maybe I can ruin her hair

Chorus:

But then she’s not there

And you look at him in total despair

Cos you really love him

Is this some kind of win?

V2:

He asks you to stay

At a local hotel or his place

Either way you expect Miss Hot Shot to be there

And you think oh yeah for her I’ll make him not care

(Repeat Chorus)

M8:

He calls you over to his place

You can tell there’s something strange about his voice

Either way you always expect her to be there

And then he’ll forget you’re there and that you really care

Yeah yeah yeah

(Repeat Chorus)
